My wife is from nyc / I work in both coasts a lot. The owner being from NJ would serve a slice and talk pie. Last night (not coincidentally the first time we’ve ever gone when the owner isn’t in) they stopped taking online orders an hour before hand and said all they had were the pies on hand it was 8:35 I had driven from the westside and was a constant customer. They didn’t want to fire a pie… I understand pie integrity but you might as well shut down early if all you have is burnt pepperoni slices… it was truly terrible, and to make it worse the pizza was burnt all around, and they put the cookies in the same sleeve so the cookies merged together in the bag… truly sub par experience, and a outrageous letdown from how they used to be / any one of those things on its own is whatever, but aml at once from a place that is serious about making good pizza… feels beneath how they used to be I may legit never come back… they put an extra slice of regular as if an extra slice of burnt pizza would make up for it being burnt and that they wanted to close more than serve their loyal customers… brutal let-down / back to Apollonian for our weekly pizza fix 🤝

Number 1 pizza in LA! Had to see for myself. Did not disappoint. As soon as you walk in you are greeted. The owner is running the till and he was very friendly and sincere. You can immediately tell he cares about his customers, employees and food. I wanted to try the Sicilian pizza since I could grab a slice to see the difference. Opted for a slice of white pizza with onions and jalapeno. First bite was crisp and cheesy and just the right heat from the jalapeno. SO GOOD. The Sicilian pizza was light and airy yet chewy soft and crispy. All the things you want your crust to be. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was really looking forward to trying Secret Pizza, especially after hearing all the great reviews. As a pizza enthusiast and a devoted fan of Prince Street Pizza, I felt compelled to see how the two compared. I decided to go with the Thick Vodka pizza. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of my expectations. At $37 for the box, I would have preferred a Little Caesars pizza instead. I can't speak for the other flavors, but the one I had definitely didn't live up to the hype. True to its name, it was thick--too thick, in fact. All I got was a mouthful of dry bread. On the bright side, the staff was fantastic and the ambiance was pleasant. Maybe | just got an off batch, but | left feeling disappointed on my first visit.

Have heard great things about Secret Pizza as it is our neighbors go to spot for NY style pies. Decided to head here on a Saturday evening as we were coming back from LAX. I’ve forgotten how bad traffic was on the 101 and took us about an hour from Hollywood. Parking here was also pretty bad as we didn’t realize how tight Browne Ave was. Found a spot up front although part of my car was in the red zone. Opted to order 2 slices of pepperoni and garlic knots to eat there while we waited for a sausage/pepperoni and double mushroom pie to take home. Slices of pepperoni were good and thought the garlic knots were just ok. I prefer the garlic rolls at Tarantino’s in Pasadena more as they are really garlicky and buttery. Both pies travelled well and we ended up eating another slice of each at home. Will definitely be back but will have to find a better spot to park so that we can dine without worrying about getting a parking ticket.

Really enjoyable pizza spot. It has a very cozy and genuine atmosphere. The staff is always super friendly and kind. The chocolate chip cookie is unreal. If you plan on getting a whole pie, I’d recommend ordering online since it *can take an hour to cook up (*disclaimer* I’ve only ordered during peak business hours so that’s why it’s been up to an hour). I will most definitely be coming back.
